The MEDIWRAP® textile used in this Product is a single use fabric, with a comfortable soft insulating lining and windproof and waterproof outer layer. Designed to arrest hypothermia and stabilise patient temperature, it is able to absorb in excess of ten times its own weight of body fluids whilst keeping the patient warm and dry. The material also acts as a total barrier to bacteria, protecting staff and patients from cross infection caused by previously used bedding.
