This accident book has been revised to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 which states that personal details entered in an accident book must be kept confidential. - An accident book should be available in the workplace at all times- Each incident record should be kept for a minimum of three years- Complete with perforated record sheets which once completed can be removed and filed.- A member of staff should be nominated to be held responsible for the safe keeping of completed accident records, preferably held together in a binder.
