HSE First Aid at Work Refresher

This course is designed to refresh and update the First Aid at Work skills and knowledge of those who need to renew their First Aid at Work certificate. Statutory certificates are valid for 3 years, and to re-qualify first aiders must attend a re-qualification course before their statutory certificate expires.

Holders of current First Aid at Work Certificate who are due for their 3-year re-qualification
What will the candidate learn?
The course aims to update and refresh the first aider’s skills and knowledge in the following areas, while allowing time for revision and practice sessions in preparation for the final assessment period. They will also be updated on the recent changes in legislation, were the training not only includes management of accidents and illness at work, but a better understanding of the preventative process through risk assessment.

Assessment:
A multiple-choice question paper and three practical assessments. Successful candidates will receive a First Aid at Work certificate valid for a further 3 years.
